Prospecting emails
The 4T Email is a strategy created by Josh Braun to help business owners craft more effective prospecting emails. It’s based on four key elements: Trigger, Third-party, Teach, and Tell. These elements work together to create an email that feels more personalised and relevant, making it easier to get your prospect’s attention and drive engagement. Instead of sending a typical sales pitch, the 4T approach aims to build trust and offer value from the first interaction.
Here’s how it works: the Trigger is the reason you’re reaching out, usually tied to something specific you noticed about the prospect. The Third-party section mentions others you’ve worked with or insights from their industry to build credibility. In the Teach section, you share a quick tip or piece of genuinely useful advice. Finally, the Tell gives a simple call to action, inviting the recipient to take the next step without being too pushy. This method is all about shifting the focus from selling to helping, which makes it a more effective way to connect with prospects.
